With just 14 days remaining in our crowdfunding campaign, we’ve already raised 56% of our goal. We’re excited to announce a new perk: the Bodhi Mind mug.
We’ve created a fun, albeit amateurish, video to introduce the mug, but on a more serious note, Wildmind aims to help people find relief from suffering and transform their lives through meditation and Buddhist practice. Many have shared with us how life-changing our work has been for them.
Our website offers hundreds of pages of free meditation instructions, and we also create and distribute guided meditations. Initially, we offered these on CDs, then moved to MP3s. With both formats declining in popularity, we are now transitioning to an app for our guided meditations.
The Bodhi Mind meditation app is set to become our primary publishing platform. I had initially estimated it would feature over 80 guided meditations, but it looks like there will be more than 100 available. In the past month alone, I’ve recorded eight new meditations for a nearly completed course. These will be added to the app, along with all other course meditations I’ve recorded.
Recently, I led a retreat on Stress Reduction Through Mindfulness, recording most of the talks and all the meditations. These recordings will also be included in the app, as will the talks, guided meditations, and Q&A sessions from a week-long retreat I conducted in Australia.
This app is set to become a significant meditation resource that we hope will provide long-term financial stability, allowing us to focus more on teaching than on managing finances.
We’d love your support. Please visit our Indiegogo campaign page, choose a perk, and become a backer.
Thank you!
