Cultivate and Nurture Your Creative Spark

Sometimes our inspiration dries up and we find ourselves just going through the motions. We might even stop meditating regularly. But sometimes, listening to a guided meditation, whether it’s online or at a retreat, can breathe new life into our practice. However, after a while, things often go back to being the same.

Here’s something new I’ve started to help keep you inspired: a daily 10-minute guided meditation.

Last year, I tried out this idea with a meditation app start-up. The goal was to provide spiritual nourishment to those who have been meditating for a while. People shared positive feedback:

These short meditations don’t have an “end.” They simply introduce a way to meditate and then leave you to continue for as long as you like. You can set a timer for anywhere from 12 minutes (the minimum recommended) to 20, 30, or even 40 minutes—whatever works for you. These introductions give your practice a little push to get started.

“Sitting With Bodhi” is a great way to learn new skills and nourish your practice. The first month-long series focuses on effective methods to slow down your thoughts, calm your mind, and create a peaceful sanctuary in the midst of a busy life.
