Sometimes we just can’t find our inspiration and end up going through the motions. We might even stop meditating regularly. And then, once in a while, we listen to a guided meditation online or at a retreat, and it feels like a breath of fresh air for our practice. But eventually, things fall back to the usual routine.
Here’s a new approach I’ve found that can help keep you inspired: offering a new 10-minute guided meditation every day.
Last year, I tried out this idea with a meditation app startup. The goal was to provide daily 10-minute meditations to give spiritual nourishment to those who’ve been meditating for a while. People had some great things to say about it:
These short meditations don’t have a designated “end.” They simply offer a way to start meditating and then let you continue for as long as you want. You can set a timer for anywhere from 12 minutes (which is the minimum recommended) up to 20, 30, or even 40 minutes—however long you prefer. These introductions give your practice a little nudge to get started.
Sitting With Bodhi is a great way to learn new skills and nourish your practice. The first month-long series introduces effective methods to help you slow down your thoughts, calm your mind, and create a peaceful sanctuary amidst a busy life.
There are two options for Sitting With Bodhi. You can choose to simply stream the guided meditations or have both streaming meditations and a daily download. You can find more details and sign up below!
